The release event for unbag Issue 2: End is taking place at New York’s Printed Matter, Inc. on January 11.

The digital and print publication unbag (that “promotes dialogue concerning contemporary art, cultural practice, and political action”) is releasing their second issue of visual art, critical essays, web-based projects and other literary works that explore the idea of ‘end’ and featuring 19 contributors including Morehshin Allahyari, Jesse Darling, Shawné Michaelain Holloway, Baseera Khan, Precious Okoyomon and Ashwin Ravikumar among others.

The evening will feature readings and performances by Justin Allen, Thea Ballard, Shawné Michaelain Holloway and Baseera Khan.

The Mothership group exhibition at Paris’ EXO EXO opened July 12 to 22.

Curated by London’s clearview, the show included works by Simon Brossard & Julie Villard, free.yard, Monika Kalinauskaitė & Monika Janulevičiūtė, Kinke Kooi, Precious Okoyomon and Paul Purgas. The concept of Mothership is an attempt to create an exhibition that embodies “a launch rocket, a naval base, a shelter and a womb (a container and an impulse).”

The show is the first event of many to come and kicks off a series that will start over the summer in London, creating a “matrix of Mothership” through open discussions and collective working sessions. The programme will develop under the title ‘Equators of Bad Organisation.’ **
